A: Hu Jia is a criminal convicted of inciting subversion of state regime by Chinese judiciary authorities. Some individuals in the European Parliament award Hu Jia the "Sakharov Prize" under the pretext of "safeguarding human rights". This is a flat distortion of fact, and fully exposes their political attempt to grossly interfere in China's internal affairs and infringe upon China's judiciary sovereignty. Facts have proved and will continue to prove that their act can neither change the fact of China's social progress and development nor blind people in Europe.
