On July 11, Consul General Mr. Kong Xianhua visited Mr. U.T Khander Fareed, Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.

Consul General Mr. Kong Xianhua congratulated Mr. Khander on his election and shared that Sichuan Province and Karnataka are friendly provinces. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the sister cities between Chengdu and Bengaluru. Two sides have broad prospects for cooperation in rural governance, infrastructure development, software technology and other fields. We are willing to work with the new government of Karnataka to promote exchanges and cooperation between Karnataka and Chinese provinces in various fields to a new level.

Mr. U.T Khander Fareed thanked Consul General Mr. Kong Xianhua for his visit and expressed willingness to promote new progress in practical cooperation between two sides.
