On August 1, Consul General Kong Xianhua met with Ms. Sujata Uchil, Joint Director of Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO)  and Management Executive Mr. Ankit Arun Dewlekar.

Ms.Sujata Uchil introduced the organizational structure and membership composition of FIEO. As a federation with a wide range of members in many cities in India, FIEO is committed to helping member companies expand their export business and assist member companies to participate in trade fairs around the world, including Canton Fair and Kunming Fair. FIEO holds corresponding trade promotion activities every year, welcomes Chinese enterprises to come to India for business negotiations and is willing to provide convenience and assistance in all aspects.

Mr. Kong expressed his appreciation for FIEO's efforts in China-India trade. Mr. Kong pointed out that India, as a big country, has developed very rapidly in recent years. We attach importance to bilateral trade relations and trade balance, and hope to strengthen cooperation with FIEO to jointly promote bilateral economic and trade and improve the well-being of the two peoples. Mr. Kong introduced the CIIE and the CIIE promotion meeting held by our consulate in Mumbai in April this year to Indian guests, and expressed his welcome to Indian companies to actively participate in the CIIE. Our consulate will provide better service to exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Indian commercial enterprises.
