On August 7, Consul General Kong Xianhua met with Mr. Natarajan Chandrasekaran, chairman of India's Tata Group. Mr. Natarajan Chandrasekaran introduced Tata Group's business development in China and his own experience of visiting many cities in China. Mr. Kong expressed appreciation for the efforts made by Tata Group and himself to promote Sino-Indian economic and trade exchanges. Kong pointed out that we attach importance to the development of bilateral trade relations and support Indian companies including Tata to visit China and doing  business. At the same time, we hope that Tata will give full play to its own advantages to promote bilateral personnel exchanges and trade exchanges to enhance the well-being of the two peoples. Our consulate will continue to provide necessary assistance for personnel exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between Chinese and Indian commercial enterprises.
