On the occasion of Diwali, Consul General Kong Xianhua, together with young diplomats went on a visit to Girjavde village in Sangli district of Maharashtra. 

Consul General Kong and his colleagues went to the fields to learn about the harvest of crops, had intimate exchanges with the local people and had dinner with them sitting on the ground. The villagers warmly welcome guests from afar. The atmosphere is friendly and warm.
