Starting from November 20, the requirement for appointment has been removed and applicants can directly submit application at Chinese Visa Center in Mumbai at any time during working hour. To ensure the implementation of this policy, Deputy Consul General Ms. Wang Awei and the colleagues from Chinese Consulate General visited Chinese visa center on November 29. Ms. Wang Awei learned about acceptance process of visa application and asked applicants for feedback and suggestions about visa service in visa center.

Ms. Wang fully recognized the performance of visa center since resumption of operation, expressed the willingness to strengthen cooperation, and expected better service of visa process of the visa center after canceling visa appointment and more contribution to facilitating people-to-people exchange and promoting China-India friendship. The visa center managers appreciated the visit of Ms. Wang and were willing to improve work under the guidence of the Consulate General.
