Consul General Mr. Tang Guocai Meets with Principal Secretary to Chief Minister of the Maharashtra State

On April 11, Mr. Tang Guocai, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Mumbai, met with Mr. Bhushan Gagrani, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister of the Maharashtra State.

Mr. Tang appreciated the Chief Minister and the Office for the support rendered to the Chinese Consulate General. He then introduced the latest development of China-India relations and the economic and cultural exchanges and collaborations between the consular district and relevant Chinese provinces. He stressed that there is huge potential in terms of China-India cooperation. The Chinese Consul General is ready to strengthen its cooperation with the Maharashtra State Government and push the existing collaborations between Maharashtra and the Chinese side.

Mr. Gagrani introduced progress the Maharashtra State Government achieved on cooperation with China. He said the Maharashtra State Government attaches great importance to its cooperation with China, adding he looks forward to witnessing more cooperation of mutual benefits between Maharashtra and the Chinese side.

Deputy Consul General Wang Yanhua and Consular Attache Fan Haonan attended the meeting.
