Consul General Mr. Tang Guocai Visits Nagpur
On April 12-13, Mr. Tang Guocai, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Mumbai, paid a visit to Nagpur, Maharashtra.  During his visit, Mr. Tang met with Mr. Bangar, Municipal Commissioner for Nagpur, and  some other local public figures from political, social and cultural circles. He also had an informal meeting with representatives of the Chinese enterprise there.
 
During the meeting with Mr. Bangar, Mr. Tang suggested that Nagpur strengthen cooperation with Jinan, its sister city in China, on smart cities building, infrastructure, culture, etc.. Mr. Bangar introduced the city of Nagpur and its municipal transportation plan, saying that Nagpur is willing to establish stable and sustainable cooperation in various fields with Jinan and other Chinese cities.

Mr. Tang also met with Ms. Sulekha, Member of Indian Minorities Committee, and other local celebrities as well as representatives from Indian Music Association and Indian Buddhism Association. 

Mr. Tang  visited Mihan Industrial Park where he inspected train cars for the Nagpur City Railway manufactured by CRRC. He encouraged Chinese enterprises in Nagpur to make more contributions to the economic and social development.

Consul Deng Xingsheng and Consular Attache Fan Haonan accompanied the visit.
